The AARP says its subscription number to the Medicare-Approved Prescription Card program is minuscule as only 400 are enrolled, despite the organization sending out 26,000 enrollment kits.
However, Steve Shelton, the owner of Nation's Medicines, says they've had over 100 people sign up early and 10 to 15 sign up on the first day the card could be used.
Sheldon also says many are signing up if they can receive the $600 credit, which you have to be income eligible to get.
