A Sheriff's Deputy is dead and so is the 15-year-old boy suspected of shooting him outside a southern Indiana home.
The Floyd County Sheriff says Deputy Frank Denzinger has died.
Sheriff Darrell Mills says the other Deputy wounded in the shooting, Joel White, was hospitalized in critical condition.
Authorities had been searching for hours for Tyler Dumstorf who is believed to have shot the two officers at his home near Georgetown, about 10 miles west of Louisville.
Police say they found Tyler Dumstorf dead when they entered the teen's home several hours after the shooting.
Officials aren't saying how Dumstorf died.
The Deputies went to the boy's home to investigate an alleged confrontation between the teen and his mother.
A neighbor said the boy fired at his mother after he shot the Deputies, but missed.
That neighbor also said the boy's mother recently caught him with marijuana and the teen tried to kill himself because of it.
