Troopers from Post Two in Madisonville apprehended 37-year-old John Crawford at his home on Pleasant View Road around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.

They had originally arrested Crawford just after midnight Wednesday morning for manufacturing meth.

They had taken him to the Regional Medical Center for treatment of burns he sustained making the meth, but he walked away from the hospital around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Crawford is now back in the Hopkins County Detention Center, with second degree escape added to all his drug charges.
