A Warren County man who shot at KSP Troopers last November has been formally indicted on charges of attempted murder.
KSP Post Three executed the indictment today on Charles Byrnes of Smiths Grove.
The 60-year-old has been lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center since November 7th on a 100,000 dollar cash bond.
He's now indicted on 15 counts of attempted murder on police officers and 20 counts of wanton endangerment.
The charges stem from a standoff with troopers in Edmonson County last November when police say Byrnes shot at them before barricading himself in a house. He later surrendered and was arrested without incident.
No one was injured in that standoff.
