A thrill ride at a Lousiville amusement park remains shut down as investigators look into the accident, that severed a teenage girl’s feet.
Kentucky Department of Agriculture spokesman, Ted Sloan said the investigation at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is complete. Now investigators are going over the evidence and witness accounts.
The Department of Agriculture is responsible for inspecting amusement park rides.
Officials said on June 21, 2007, a cable broke loose on the Superman Tower of Power ride, striking a passenger’s legs.
According to Sloan, they’re still trying to find out why the cable broke.
