After a long battle, Slim and Staci Nash are preparing their daughter for her long awaited treatment.

Presley Nash has a rare genetic disorder. The only treatment is an expensive bone marrow treatment.

Initially insurance would not cover the treatment but the decision was reversed. Staci and Presley Nash will leave Friday afternoon for the children's hospital in Minnesota.

After a round of chemotherapy and radiation, Presley will undergo a bone marrow transplant followed by months of medication and recovery.

Doctors expect Presley to be in the hospital for about six months.
