A Bowling Green fourth of July tradition will add a new event to its lineup this year. The Greenview Regional Hospital Thunderfest will now include hot air balloon rides along with its lineup of fireworks, kids inflatable games, and live music.
U.S. Bank, sponsor of the Balloon Classic, is joining the Thunderfest sponsorship group and will provide the rides for $5 a pop.
Here's the 411 on Thunderfest:
July 2 at The National Corvette Museum
Gates open at 4 p.m. and Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.
Admission: $5 per person or $15 per carload.
Armband for inflatable games: $7
Hot Air Balloon rides: $5
No alcohol or coolers will be allowed at the event this year.
