The Natural Resources Conservation Association hosted an agricultural field day in Hart County Thursday.
The group met at the American Cave Museum, in Horse Cave, and learned how farmland erosion into sinkholes can be a pollutant.
From there, they traveled to farms around Hart County, learning techniques that can prevent farmland erosion from happening, such as planting native grasses.
The group also traveled to other farms to talk about the benefits farmers can receive from the Conservation Research Enhance Program, or CREP.
