Grace Free Will Baptist Church welcomes all to their place of worship, but this evening just after their Sunday night service ended they got an unexpected visitor.
"It was kind of like you're in the twilight zone. It's really unexpected. We're just very thankful noone was hurt. There was some damage to the property, but bricks can be replaced," Pastor Gary Johnson said.
A couple was driving on Scottsville-Alvaton Rd. when their car overheated and stopped. The couple pushed the car down a hill to stop at the church parking lot but, the car's breaks went out and it kept going, smashing into the church.
Kentucky State Police said no charges will be filed because of the accident and Pastor Johnson said they hope to have the church fully functional by next Sunday's service.
