Kentucky State Police say six people died in six separate crashes on Kentucky roads from February 1st to the7th.

Kentucky State Police say six people died in six separate crashes on Kentucky roads from February 1st to the 7th.

Four of the crashes involved motor vehicles, and three of those victims were not wearing seat belts.

One scooter fatality occurred in Letcher County; the victim was not wearing a helmet.

One crash involving a pedestrian occurred in Spencer County.

So far this year, 63 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roads.

This is 10 fewer fatalities than reported for the same time period in 2009.
