"We're putting on a benefit softball tournament for Landon Miller. Back in March, Landon suffered a hemorrhage in the brain. When we took him to Vanderbilt, we found out that it was an aneurysm."

Now eight-year-old Landon has a two-by-two area in the right temple of his brain that could rupture and cause another aneurysm.

"On July 6, the Vanderbilt team is going to remove this two-by-two area to prevent future aneurysms."

The surgery is going to last all day and requires several doctors. It also will be costly.

"As soon as I heard about Landon, I was like, 'We've got to do something,'"

Rhonda Johnson and Anthony Eakles are both softball players and both coach a youth softball team.

"That's our expertise. That's what we wanted to put together was a softball tournament. And we've got a lot of connections from being involved in softball for so long."

"I've called and we've received several sponsorships from people in the community."

And for Landon's family, their efforts are paying off in a major way.

"It is going to be a tremendous savings for us, and help. It's a big undertaking. We're very thankful that they're doing it. And it will help in all the expenses and just day to day expenses."

Both Rhonda and Anthony say they felt like it was something they had to do.

"I wouldn't hesitate a minute. It's awesome!"

"Having three kids of my own, when Rhonda mentioned it, I stopped what I was doing this weekend and said we're going to schedule it. And I couldn't imagine what she has to go through."

"So it is a big blessing."
