During their meeting Monday night, the Warren County Board of Education approved three new calendar days due to the snow.
They've already seen seven snow days, and to keep from extending their year into the summer, the board unanimously voted to use three of their built-in calendar days.
Warren County Schools will now be in session February 15, March 18, and March 19, leaving four more days, so far, to make up.
"People are just curious and wanting to know, so we're really anxious to get the word out there so people can go ahead and plan ahead, said Joanie Hendricks, Public Relations for Warren County Schools. "The day after Valentine's, on President's Day, we're going to have school."
With the snow falling overnight Monday night, those with Warren County Schools are hoping they do not have to call off school, but they will if it isn't safe.
Tuesday morning, at least 20 drivers will be out checking the roads in the county, and a decision will be made by 5 am whether or not to call off school.
