Special Agent Mike Misiuta, with the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, says five alleged illegal immigrants were taken into custody through a joint investigation between his department, the Warren County Sheriff's Department, and Postal Inspectors.
Misiuta says the agencies went to a mobile home in Country Living Estates with a search warrant to search the residence to see if fake identification cards were being made.
The five detained are David Barajas-Lucio, Manolo Romo-Rivero, Oscar Hernandez-Benitez, Fidel Sanchez-Aparicio, and Gerado Gutierrez-Mosqueda.
Misiuta says they're lodged in either the Grayson County Detention Center or the Warren County Regional Jail until a case-worker can discuss their situation with the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Western District of Kentucky.
