Thirteen-year-old Kaitlyn Lasitter of Louisville has been released from
Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN.
Lasitter was injured June 21, 2007, when a cable broke on the Superman Tower of Power ride at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Doctors at the hospital reattached her right foot, but were unable to save her left foot.
Lasitter's parents sued the amusement park in Jefferson County Circuit Court on July 12.
