It's the annual crime-stoppers Eye-Opener Breakfast, and Wednesday morning more than 300 citizens, policeman, and supporters of the program came together for breakfast at the Sloan Convention Center.
Policemen roasted each other and joked around, but also boasted about how Crime Stoppers is working in our communities.
"This year, 2010 has already started out to be an exciting year," said Officer Barry Pruitt, with the Bowling Green Police Department, "where we've got a lot of illegal drugs off the street, recovered about 1500 dollars in stolen property already, 2 stolen guns, and 3 fugitives."
The breakfast served as a fundraiser and the money will pay for crime tips that are called in.
