WKU Optimistic About Kentucky Budget Cuts
Western Kentucky University officials say their budget could be cut in the state legislature's latest budget proposal.

WKU is subject to the one-and-a half percent cut proposed in the Kentucky budget.
But WKU's Vice President of Public Affairs says she believes the talks about budgets cuts will end on a good note.
"I'm not waving any red flags," said Robbin Taylor. "I think we are at a good point in this process given where we started, and we just hope that as it completes through the next three weeks that we end at the very least where we are now, if not a little better."
Taylor also mentioned the university is doing its best not to raise tuition costs for students.
