Bowling Green Police say 49-year-old Regie L. Babb left his friends' home on West 14th Street Wednesday night to head to Froggy's for a party.
The following morning, Babb was found on the friends' couch, covered in blood from three stab wounds to the chest.
"We know the victim's wallet and cell phone are gone, so we 're hoping someone has found this or seen this or actually knows something about this case, that they'll contact Bowling Green Police or if they want to remain anonymous they can contact Crime Stoppers," said Barry Pruitt of the Bowling Green Police.
Babb also received stab wounds to the head, and he was taken to The Medical Center before being transferred to Vanderbilt Hospital.
