Sheriff's detectives in Kentucky as well as the Indiana State Police are working a possible abduction case.
But authorities don't know who the possible victims are.
Police are working off of a note found at a Bullitt County gas station. It is supposedly from two children, Josh and Laura McKae from Indianapolis. The note alleges a truck driver abducted them from a Pilot gas station in the Bullitt County area. The truck is described as a big red and white truck that with "FirstFleet" in red on the back. The note says they are headed to Nashville and will return Hopkinsville.
Police have also not ruled out that this could be a hoax.
"There are a few flags that are raised to us that this could be a fluke but again, as a police agency until you determine otherwise you got to take this stuff pretty serious." said Bullitt County Sheriff's Department Detective Scotty McGaha.
Police have been able to track down a FirstFleet truck driver who was recently in Bullitt County and fits the description given in the note. He is being questioned.
