Some Bowling Green banks are helping out in the community.
July 28 kicked off of the construction of the "Banker's House" for Habitat for Humanity.
The home is being built with the help of some area banks.
"A group of local banks have gotten together to build a house for Habitat. They've sponsored the funds necessary to build the house and to bring in labor," said Robert Chaudoin, President of Habitat for Humanity.
The workers were under the supervision of Habitat for Humanity.
Volunteers with U.S. Bank, National City, Kentucky Trust Bank, Citizen's First, Republic Bank, South-Central Bank and Independence Bank are helping make the home possible.
