A Fort Campbell soldier facing rape and murder charges for an attack that killed a 14-year-old Iraqi girl and her family has pleaded guilty to lesser offenses.
Private Jesse Spielman will still be tried on the rape and murder charges, but has admitted guilt to conspiracy of obstructing justice, arson, wrongfully touching a corpse and drinking.
Spielman was accused of serving as a lookout while other soldier raped and killed the girl and her family.
So far, three soldiers have pleaded guilty for their roles in the crimes and received sentences ranging from five-to-100-years.
Another soldier discharged from the military faces the death penalty when he's tried in federal court.
