Hopkinsville Firefighters Charged With Burglary

Four Western Kentucky firefighters have been charged with burglary.

Scott Bullard, James Upton, Glenn Pepper and Jason Gluff were arrested July 27, 2007.

Three of them were also charged with unlawful taking of more than $300.

The four men were investigated after someone reported seeing several men on May 15, removing fixtures from a house scheduled to be destroyed as part of a flood buyout program.

The items included doors, a bathroom vanity and a central
air-conditioning unit.

Firefighters had used the house to practice operations before it was demolished.

The Hopkinsville firefighters are currently free on bond after a grand jury charged them with third-degree burglary.
