Understanding Social Security

Uncertainty and confusion are two words that may come to mind when you hear the words, social security. Earlier Wednesday, people of all ages turned out to learn more about the issues surrounding social security. The area's Social Security Administration hosted workshops this morning at Western Kentucky University's Downing University Center.

Organizers say events like Wednesday's allows them to better educate people about fraud, Medicare, and other topics away from the typical office setting.
