The controversial health care reform bill is to be voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives Sunday.
Friday Congressman Ed Whitfield of Kentucky's first district told us it would raise taxes $570-billion, and cut Medicare by $523-billion, which he says would hurt Kentuckians.
"It's gonna hit the first district particularly hard," said Whitfield, "because a lot of the money for the Medicare cuts will be coming out of Medicare Advantage. And we have over 13,000 people on Medicare Advantage in the 1st district."
Whitfield also said he disagrees with the administration's contention that the health care bill will reduce the debt by $138-billion.
