An assault investigation leads to the arrest of one man in Allen County.
On March 7, Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a complaint from Scottsville Police requesting assistance regarding an assault.
Initial investigation concluded that the victim had sustained multiple injuries, and was transported to Vanderbilt for treatment.
Further investigation led to the arrest of 19-year-old Cody Payne of Scottsville.
The suspect was arrested at his home and lodged in the Allen County Jail without incident.
Further details are not being released and the investigation is ongoing.
