Bowling Green City Parks are getting a mini-makeover as city officials start a new campaign to cut down on trash.

"Keep it Clean Bowling Green" is designed to educate Bowling Green's residents on the importance of a litter-free community.

Officials say by keeping the trash where it belongs, the city stays beautiful and visitors get a good first impression.

Officials also want to make sure the word gets out to everyone, so they're publishing the message in English, Spanish and Bosnian.

For information on getting "Keep it Clean Bowling Green" signs, call 270-393-3605.
