ITA board members and local leaders got their first look at the new ITA headquarters building on Tuesday. The preview came as part of a Transpark tour designed to help update city and county officials on construction progress at the industrial park site.
The Intermodal Tranpark Authority has purchased a private home at the front edge of Transpark property, and will renovate the home to become the ITA's headquarters for administrative staff, and a boardroom.
"We wanted to be out here so we could actually be located on the Transpark. We get to see all the construction taking place and be here, and actually have a location where, when we bring prospective clients here, we can bring them actually to the park," says Tracy Dunn, ITA spokesperson.
