Retirement Community Faces Air-Conditioning Problems

Residents of a local retirement community are feeling the heat because of air-conditioning problems.

In a written statement, the Bowling Green Towers management said one of their air-conditioning units continues to blow fuses.

Now, property managers are telling residents that on Aug. 14, 2007, all of them will have to leave while the appropriate repairs are being made.

They are hopeful the repairs can be made within a few hours and residents can come home by early afternoon.
