The warm weather brought a lot of people to the Woodburn Fire Dept.'s annual Ice Cream Supper on Aug. 11.
This is a community event and fundraiser that raises money to support emergency services in the Woodburn district.
"The great thing about this event is that it's become a true community event. A lot of people look forward to it every year," said Bob Skipper, with the Woodburn Fire. Dept.
Barbecue, games, dessert, music and of course ice cream always gives the community a reason to look forward to it.
The Red Cross was also on hand at the event to encourage people to donate blood
