Versailles Road, the main connection between the Bluegrass Parkway and Lexington and points east is now open. Officials closed U.S. 60 after a small jet overshot the runway at Bluegrass Field and crashed into the roadway.
Four people were injured in the crash, and one woman died. The woman was on her way to Lexington to receive medical treatments.
Others on the ground were treated at area hospitals for smoke inhalation after they tried to help the plane's passengers.
