A benefit is scheduled this weekend for a Franklin quadriplegic.
Nineteen-year-old Jeremiah Watkins was injured in June during an accident at his home.
Watkins was hanging upside down from a basketball goal when he fell and severed his spine.
A benefit to help the family with medical expenses will be held Aug. 25 from 6 to 10 p.m. on the Franklin Square.
It will feature live bands, a bake sale and a silent auction that includes tickets to a Titan's ballgame.
Donations are also being accepted at any Integra Bank.
