Police are investigating a Russell Springs pharmacist. They believe the man was illegally distributing drugs. Police say the owner of Grider drugs, Leon Grider, has been giving away thousands of prescription drugs illegally.
Thursday the Russell Springs Police Department closed the three drugstores to search for evidence. Police say they have been working on the case for more than two years using undercover sources.
Grider has not been arrested. He says he does not know why police are searching his businesses. Police hope to finished searching the pharmacies sometime Thursday night. All three Grider stores are expected to re-open sometime Friday.
