Commonwealth Health to Go Completely Smoke Free

By  |

Starting Jan. 1, 2004, Commonwealth Health Corporation (CHC) will prohibit the use of tobacco products on all of its properties. The move affects employees, as well as patients and visitors. For more than a decade, the hospitals and buildings owned by CHC have been smoke free on the inside. After the change, there will be no smoking anywhere on hospital property, including outside.

To help with the transition, CHC will provide free smoking cessation classes to both employees and the public (supplies not included). For more information on the classes, call 270-745-1010.
