Friday morning, three Russell Springs pharmacies were back in business after a police investigation closed them down. Thursday Police shut down the Grider drugstores in Russell Springs. They were looking into the activities of the owner, Leon Grider, who they say has been giving away thousands of prescription drugs illegally.
Police have been watching Grider for two years after they received several tips and also noticed an unusually high number of robberies at the drugstores. Grider has not been arrested. Police hope to gather enough evidence though to press charges.
