The Jefferson County coroner identifies the man who was shot and killed by Louisville Police.
Deputy Coroner Eddie Robinson said 44-year-old Guy Ray of Louisville died of multiple gunshot wounds on Aug. 27 at University Hospital.
An autopsy on Ray was performed on Aug. 28.
The shooting happened after a nearly three-hour standoff at a National City Bank branch in suburban Louisville.
Four bank employees who had been held hostage were freed unharmed before the shooting.
Ray was shot by members of the SWAT team as he came out of the bank holding a weapon.
Members of the team have been placed on administrative leave.
