Bowling Green Police make an arrest and recover the big-screen TV stolen from the St. Jude Dream Home.
Just over a week ago, "Crime Stoppers" told you about the theft of the TV from the home being built in Olde Stone subdivision.
That house will be raffled off to help pay the medical expenses of children stricken with cancer.
Police say around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 29, they recovered the 42-inch Vizio television that was stolen from the home and arrested 18-year-old Steven Bradley Eves.
"We got some information through Crime Stoppers and through an informant that the suspect had the television in his possession. From there we were able to locate it and make an arrest," said Barry Pruitt, with the Bowling Green Police.
Steven Bradley Eves of Bowling Green faces felony charges of receiving stolen property more than $300.
His bond was set at $10,000.
Early Aug. 30, police recovered a 4-wheeler stolen from Tractor Supply on Scottsville Rd. in connection with this case.
Officer Pruitt said there may be more arrests and charges forthcoming.
