WBKO Employee Raises Awareness

We want to tell you about a cause tonight that's being spearheaded by one of WBKO's very own.

Josh Hines, who works in our station's production department, is trying to save a stray dog in Egypt.

He saw the dog during a trip there last month and it quickly caught his eye because it was openly abused on the streets.

Now, he's trying to bring the dog to the U.S. and trying to raise awareness about aniimal abuse.

"I don't know if people realize how bad it is in places like that you know, there's not really animal welfare groups the way they are here," Josh said.
