Gas Prices Affect Holiday Weekend Travel

There's one thing you probably can't miss if you're going to be out traveling this Labor Day weekend and that's the gas prices.

The U.S. Department of Energy is reporting that gas prices are down this year over last year by about 26 cents per gallon.

But some motorists say the prices are still high and keeping them from traveling as much this holiday weekend.

"Normally we usually make two to three trips to Chicago or Michigan but we trimmed it down to one because of gas prices being so high," said Delores Perry, a motorist from Atlanta, Ga.

Some traveling the road say even if they are traveling, the gas prices are limiting what they do.
