DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A central Kentucky couple have been killed in what a coroner says was a murder-suicide.
The Advocate-Messenger of Danville reported the deaths of Sharon Daugherty Douglas and her husband Thomas R. Douglas -- both 49 years old.
Boyle County Coroner Dr. James Ramey said the husband shot the wife with a .38-caliber pistol, then shot himself Ramey said both died instantaneously from head wounds.
Sharon Douglas' beauty shop and Thomas Douglas' towing business are located in the same building as the residence.
The couple's bodies were found by a family member on Sunday evening.
