Senator Craig Reconsiders Decision to Resign

Senator Larry Craig is reconsidering his decision to resign after his arrest in a Minnesota airport sex sting.

Craig had said he was going to resign from the Senate on Sept. 30 following his guilty plea to the misdemeanor charge.

However, his spokesman says since then, Craig has hired a prominent lawyer to investigate the possibility of reversing his plea.

U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell explained Craig's possible next moves.

"If he is able to get the case in Minnesota, he would want to get back to the Senate to finish his term," McConnell assured.

Craig was a no-show on Sept. 4 as Congress reconvened after a summer break.
