The State Board of Elections re-certifies the bulk of voting machines that will be used on election.
Election officials say there have not been any reported instances of problems with the machines.
Even so, Attorney General Greg Stumbo says a report found that many electronic voting machines could be susceptible to security problems.
He said the potential exists for someone to hack into certain electronic voting machines and disrupt an election.
Secretary of State Trey Grayson said there are no problems with the machines, but that he and Stumbo will work together on the matter.
