Police urge residents to keep your doors and windows locked.
Home burglaries are up and we have the story in this edition of "Crime Stoppers."
Police say burglars have struck in a couple of Bowling Green neighborhoods.
They are the subjects of the Sept. 19 "Crime of the Week."
Over the first two weeks of September, burglars have hit homes in the "Hartland" and "Bent Tree" subdivisions of Bowling Green.
Police say the thieves have entered the homes through open garage doors and open windows.
Once inside, they steal jewelry, wallets and purses.
In an early morning burglary on Tuesday, Sept. 18, the thief fled on foot and ran across the Cross Winds Golf Course.
He left his footprints in a sand trap.
