Franklin citizens will soon have the choice on whether they can choose to drink while eating out. The Simpson County Clerk's office counted about 600 signatures on a petition. The petition will require a liquor by the drink vote be placed on the ballot in November. Proponents say they think allowing alcohol in restaurants would help boost Franklin's economy. But not everyone is for the vote so far the city's paper has received two letters to the editor against the issue.
