Engine Malfunction May Have Caused Tenn. Plane Crash

The son of one of the survivors of a Tennessee plane crash says the craft's engines quit on approach to Chattanooga Municipal Airport.

Troy Turner said the group was flying from Birmingham, Alabama to Georgetown, Kentucky.

But 20 minutes into the flight, the pilot realized the fuel level was low and said the gauges might be malfunctioning.

The pilot was trying to land when the cockpit lights began flickering and the engine quit.

The plane crashed into a shopping centers parking lot.

All four men aboard are expected to recover.
