A plane crash in eastern Kentucky this weekend leaves the pilot dead.
The single-engine plane crashed into the Ohio River on Sept. 22, killing William Stevens, the 80-year-old pilot.
He had taken off from Grayson, Ky. in a plane state police say he owned.
Troopers say the plane crashed as it was trying to land at the Ashland Regional Airport.
Stevens had radioed in about engine problems shortly after takeoff.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
