Ky. Alcohol Control Chief Faces DUI Charge

The head of the state's Office of Alcoholic Beverage Control resigns after being arrested on a drunken driving charge over the weekend.

According to a police citation, Chris Lilly was arrested Sept. 22.

He was appointed executive director of the ABC last year.

Lilly was pulled over on U.S. 27 outside Nicholasville, Ky. because his Ford Explorer was missing a headlight, and because he was weaving and driving slowly.

According to the citation, Lilly smelled of alcohol and lost his balance during a sobriety test.
