Muhlenberg County Runaway Found, Along with Convicted Felon

A Muhlenberg County runaway is found, along with an escapee from a Paducah halfway house.

Seventeen-year-old Corrie Ann Enix was last seen in Muhlenberg County on Sept. 7.

She was in a stolen truck driven by 34-year-old David New.

New is a convicted felon who escaped from a Paducah halfway house last April.

Just before 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 24, Kentucky State Police received word that New was going to bring Enix to meet a family member at the Western Kentucky Travel Center in Ohio County to confirm she was okay.

Just before 1 a.m., the two were found there and New was charged with second-degree escape.
