It was a cake lovers dream Saturday at the Duncan Hines Festival.
A baking contest wrapped up the two day festival, which featured dozens of cake creations.
Adults and children participated in different classes and categories but were all encouraged to utilize Duncan Hines products in unique ways.
Organizers say every year bakers manage to whip up some amazing creations.
"Last year we had someone make hamburgers and fries with the cake mix and the icing and we have someone who did cake pops one year and just all kinds of creations because we really don't want baking to become a lost art," says Ashley Reynold, the baking contest chairperson.
Some of the unique creations created this year were a cupcake topped with bacon, and a cupcake garden.
