Additional Charges for Man Who Led Police on Pursuit

GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) -- Glasgow Police have added more charges against a man who led law enforcement on a chase on Interstate 65 on Saturday, April 27.

Police say they tried to arrest Wesley Graves, 23, at the Glasgow Walmart for a probation violation, but he refused and took off.

Kentucky State Police were soon called in to help.

Graves was eventually arrested in Hart County on Fleeing/Evading Police 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment - Police Officer (4 counts).

Glasgow Police say they have now added their own charges against Graves: Disorderly Conduct, Operating on a Suspended License, Resisting Arrest, Disregarding a Traffic Control Device, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Fleeing/Evading Police 1st Degree (motor vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st (Police Officer) 4 counts, Attempted Assault 1st Degree (Police Officer), Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.

He was also served bench warrants for Contempt of Court, Probation Violation By/Felony Use.
