BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- An Allen county woman plead guilty today to prescription drug related charges.
According to the U.S. Attorney's office, Lynn Harper Denton pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and sell over $5,000 worth of the prescription painkiller, hydrocodone.
According to the plea agreement, between May and October of 2012, Denton conspired with two others to distribute the drug.
Denton admitted to stealing over 10,000 hydrocodone pills from her employer, Stovall's Prescription Shop, in Scottsville, and selling them to Katherine Virginia Rookstool, who then sold them to Jeffrey Clay Stinson. Stinson then sold the pills to others.
Stinson pleaded guilty to federal charges and is awaiting sentencing.
Rookstool has an April 21st trial date.
The retail value of the stolen hydrocodone is almost $30,000.
Denton faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison, a $750,000 fine, and five years of supervised release.
