Bowling Green Police have made an arrest in connection with the robbery at the Minit Mart on Morgantown Rd. last week.

Over the weekend, police arrested Jamarkhis Jones, 19.

They say two men came into the Minit Mart on Oct. 2 armed with what they believe was a broomstick.

The two asked for money from the convenient store clerk.

Police say further investigation led them to Jones' home.

"As the investigation continued, that's when police were led to Parkside Apartments. They located cash and other items associated with the robbery," says Officer Ryan Dillon with Bowling Green Police.

Police are still looking for one other suspect in the case.

If you have any information on the where-a-bouts of the other suspect, call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE.
